Quachell Is Write

as in she's right โ€” as in she writes

Welcome to the creative home of Quachell Peele. Poetry, storytelling, book blurbs, and raw honest writing that meets you right where you are.

Quachell Peele
Some stories are written to entertain. Mine are written to heal, reveal, and remind people they are not alone. โ€” Quachell

About Quachell Is Write

A home for poetry, personal truth, fiction, reflection, and the kind of writing that stays with you.

Quachell Is Write is more than a website โ€” it is a creative space built to hold poems, personal reflections, book blurbs, and excerpts from stories in progress.

This platform exists for the words that are too honest to keep hidden: the poems that ache, the blurbs that pull you in, and the stories that turn pain into purpose. Whether you're here for fiction, healing, or a line that makes you stop and breathe โ€” you are in the right place.

Featured Poem

A space for honest words, healing, and the emotions we do not always say out loud.

He Said I Lost Something

He said I lost something He don't know the half. I lost the feeling of you kicking. I'll never hear you laugh. I'll never see you smile. Or smell your baby smell. I lost my baby โ€” and the things with it. I'll never see you grow. I'll never watch you play. He said I lost something. He don't know the half. I long for your kisses. I wish to hold you one time. Instead I sit in bed and ask God โ€” why, oh why did you have to let my baby die? I'll never see your first steps. I'll never hear your first words. You were taken away before you were even held.
